a poem to remember

At long last, the "Boz and Jonesie" wedding poem, brought to you by Foster T. Jones...

Boz and Jonesie
Jonesie and Boz
Each for the other
Been "jonesing" with cause

Boz and Jonesie
Jonesie and Boz
In life's movable feast
Good cooks, not skin and bones-y
Are Jonesie and Boz
Boz and Jonesie

They're hale, hearty, and fit
And all pheromones-y
Are Jonesie and Boz
Boz and Jonesie

It's a message they're texting
Without using an iPhone, see?
Jonesie and Boz
Boz and Jonesie

With heart, courage and brain
On life's road they'll remain
On life's yellow brick road
Toward the em'ralds of Oz
Will dance Boz and Jonesie
Jonesie and Boz

Sharpshooter

When Javier told us that he was willing to be our main photographer for the wedding, we did not realize that he would be creeping around and documenting the ENTIRE week. Now the fruits of his labor are starting to show up, and we are loving every bit.

Thank you Javi for lugging your arsenal of gear to the beach and working your magic for us.

Tech Support

You've all got iPhones, right? Good.

Jac de Haan sent over his suggestions for apps he has downloaded to help with the trip. If you've got other suggestions leave them in the comments on this post.

Free app
This app links with Google Maps and provides historical, economic, biological and art-related facts about Costa Rica. Learn about leatherback turtles, check out photos and get tips for traveling in country.

Free app
Input all your flights and reservations. TripTracker will gather latest gate information and ETD for flights when connected to the internet. Keep backup confirmation codes in the app too.

Free app
This app does only one thing...it provides customer service numbers and tells you how to hack through the automated phone tree and talk to a real person. Could be useful if you end up missing a connecting flight and need to reschedule quickly.

Free app
Flash cards with common Spanish words. Uses matching games to help you learn. You can customize word lists and parts of speech.

Reaching Nathalie and Brendan and Saturday Brunch

A couple of things to share today (our last day before departure and our King County courthouse wedding day!)...

Contacting B and N
When we are in Playa Grande, you can reach us a few different ways. This info and more is also on the Survival Guide that came with your invite, so you should dig that up and bring it on your trip for easy reference.

By phone
  • Casa Muy Grande has a phone, so it is best to try us there first. (011-506)-653-0715. Drop the 011-506 when calling from Costa Rica.
  • Nathalie's cell phone will be working with an international plan. 206-617-5601. Please only call if urgent and you can't reach us on the house phone (above). AT&T charges a very pretty penny for these calls, even with an international plan.
By email
  • We'll be checking email regularly, so you can reach us at any address. bozandjonesie, nathaliejones, bbosworth - each at gmail dot com.
We'll also be posting useful info on the blog once we are in Costa Rica for those who are coming later to refer to.

Saturday Brunch
We are hosting a casual recovery brunch at Bula Bula the morning after the wedding, on Saturday March 27th. Food will be served from 10am-1pm, so stop by for some eats and visiting or at least to say "hola" and "hasta" on your way out of town for those of you leaving early on Saturday. The two of us be hanging around the pool/restaurant by 9:30am so we can be sure to connect with those headed out for 1:30 flights from Liberia.
